WordPress Programmers is the place to be for all your questions about WordPress.

The site is written for people who build with WordPress or want to start: developers, designers and site owners who like to understand what happens behind the dashboard. You will find practical articles on choosing and building themes, writing and using plugins, speeding up a site, and keeping an installation tidy and secure.

We try to explain things in plain language and focus on what works in everyday projects. Some articles are aimed at beginners who are setting up their first site, others go deeper into custom development, page builders and performance tuning.

A good place to begin is our overview of must-have WordPress plugins, or the blog, where new articles on development, SEO and site speed are added over time.
